Day 1 - January 18, 2025: Sydney to Buenos Aires

Meals: Self-arranged
Arrive at the airport three hours early for your international flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for rest.
Accommodation: Local 5-star hotel

Day 2 - January 19, 2025: Buenos Aires to Ushuaia

Meals: Hotel breakfast, lunch, and dinner (self-arranged)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for rest.
Accommodation: Local 3-4 star hotel

Day 3 - January 20, 2025: Ushuaia

Meals: Self-arranged
After breakfast, enjoy free time for independent activities.
Accommodation: Same as previous night

Day 4 - January 21, 2025: Ushuaia - Embarkation Day

Meals: Cruise dinner
Head to the port independently. Board the Ocean Albatros cruise ship with assistance from the Albatros Expeditions team. Enjoy a welcome drink and briefing from the expedition leader. Participate in a maritime safety drill. Have dinner as the captain sails the ship into the Beagle Channel.

Day 5 - January 22, 2025: Crossing Drake Passage

Meals: Cruise breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Experience a day and a half of sailing across the Drake Passage, known for its treacherous conditions. Participate in lectures on Antarctic biology, geology, and climate. Look out for floating ice, icebergs, seabirds, and whales.

Days 6-8 - January 23-25, 2025: South Shetland Islands

Meals: Cruise breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Land on the wildlife-rich South Shetland Islands, home to penguins, seals, and breeding seabirds. Enjoy Zodiac excursions to encounter marine life. Landings and activities will depend on weather and ice conditions.

Days 9-10 - January 26-27, 2025: Antarctic Peninsula

Meals: Cruise breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Marvel at the stunning wildlife as you approach the Antarctic Peninsula. Look for penguin colonies, seals, and whales. If weather permits, participate in a "Polar Plunge" challenge. Landings and activities will depend on weather and ice conditions.

Days 11-12 - January 28-29, 2025: At Sea

As you sail northward, cross the Drake Passage again. Capture memorable moments with fellow travelers while enjoying the stunning scenery.

Day 13 - January 30, 2025: Arrival in Ushuaia - Buenos Aires

Meals: Cruise breakfast
After breakfast, disembark in Ushuaia and say goodbye to the crew and expedition team. Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for rest.

Day 14 - January 31, 2025: Buenos Aires - Sydney

Meals: Breakfast and lunch provided
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Buenos Aires, visiting notable sites such as Avenida 9 de Julio, the Boca district, the Presidential Palace, Plaza de Mayo, and more. After lunch, transfer to the airport for your international flight back to Sydney.

Day 15 - February 1, 2025: Arrival in Sydney

Arrive back in Sydney, concluding your unforgettable Antarctic adventure.

Liability:
- The company is not liable for safety issues arising from services provided by third-party partners (transportation companies, cruise lines, hotels, tourist attractions).
- The safety of the group is the direct responsibility of the relevant partners.
- The company provides communication and coordination services only.
- Travelers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance, including medical coverage.
Cancellation Policy:
- The company assumes no responsibility for additional expenses or cancellations due to personal reasons, strikes, weather, political factors, war, natural disasters, oil price increases, or other uncontrollable factors.
- Travelers must read the Albatros Cruise Ticket Terms & Conditions. Payment of the deposit indicates acceptance of these terms.
- A non-refundable deposit of AUD 3,000 is required within 7 days of booking; failure to pay will result in cancellation.
- Travelers must complete the registration form, provide a passport copy, and sign to confirm the booking.
- Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another tour or group.
Payment Schedule:
- 50% of the total amount must be paid 180 days before departure.
- 100% of the total amount must be paid 120 days before departure.
Cancellation Fees:
- AUD 3,000 deposit per person is non-refundable for any reason.
- If cancellation occurs 179 days before departure: 50% of the tour fee per person is deducted.
- If cancellation occurs 119 days before departure: 100% of the tour fee per person is deducted.
